AI technology has been around for decades, but only in the last few years have we seen a huge surge in AI development.
There are many reasons for this rapid development, such as:
- AI is getting smarter because we can collect and store more data to teach it. This includes gathering information from the internet and using that data in decision-making abilities.
There has been significant growth in computing power, making it possible for machines like robots to make complex decisions with speed and accuracy. – Because of the increase in computing power, there has also been an expansion of what technology can do; examples include driverless cars or drones able to autonomously deliver items within cities. – It is increasingly easier for developers (even if they don’t have much experience) to develop their own AI applications simply by programming them on cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform or Amazon Web Services.
- Finally, there is also an increase in the number of AI start-ups that are not only looking at how they can improve existing technology but are exploring new possibilities previously unfeasible or even unimaginable with AI.
As a result, we have seen AI being used for anything from helping customers on customer service chatbots to predicting diseases and illnesses within medical diagnoses by analyzing patterns within DNA data sets. Its applications seem endless. And don’t forget about all these other great things that come with using it – such as more convenience for people through automation! Modern life would be hard without the Internet of Things (IoT). Using IoT devices reduces our need to do certain tasks manually while still getting them done.
Computers help us in our day-to-day lives by doing tasks that would be time-consuming or difficult for the average person, such as keeping track of finances and paying bills on time (or even doing it automatically), calendar management, etc. They also do repetitive jobs like data entry which speeds up processing times and reduces errors compared to doing this manually over long periods. This automation not only saves people money but makes their lives easier too! Instead of having so much administrative work to do at home, they can devote more energy towards what’s important such as spending quality family time.
As AI technology grows, there are some concerns about job security which is a valid worry. But in reality, humans are still needed – at least for the foreseeable future! Experts agree that while some jobs may be replaced by AI, they will not all disappear immediately, but over time as technology develops and becomes more advanced, it will continue to take away human tasks such as customer service or data processing. However, this does not mean we need to fear robots taking our place. In fact, experts believe there could actually be an increase of new types of jobs created because of AI development, such as people who develop these applications themselves (or even just use them) and then others who work alongside computers.
