Build Your Celebrity Photo Archive

There is so much rich material for your scrapbooking projects when you use a celebrity photo archive. You want to be selective about what you choose, though, because it can be easy to get so overwhelmed with such a rich source of photos. You need to sort through them carefully, though, and not rely on your instincts entirely. After all, the photos you’re finding could be the latest or maybe the last that you’ll find this way. As with any of your other archive layouts, you should have some idea of where to look first.

First, look for an internet site that offers a search feature that looks for specific terms. You can do a general search with something like “photo,” but it will show many more results than just “photo.” You can then sort through those results into different categories to take a look at the type of photos you’re interested in.

A celebrity photo archive is going to offer a wide range of photos. If you look closely, though, you can be sure that some of them will be old and that others are recent but still look great. Don’t worry too much about the fact that they’re old; you’re looking for quality, not quantity, so go for the best of the best.

Some people worry about using older photos because they think they won’t be as nice as newer photos. The truth is that many older photos can look just as good as newer photos. Sometimes they just require some touch-ups here and there, such as extra lighting or background corrections. You may even be able to remove red-eye or other imperfections that weren’t in the original copy so that the photo comes out exactly how you imagined it.

You should also make sure that you aren’t paying for photos that you don’t have the rights to use. This doesn’t just pertain to the photos themselves, but also the sources from which they came. Take, for instance, celebrity photos taken by well-known sports magazines and newspapers but which are exclusively for the use of other companies or publications. These sources may not necessarily be as reliable as the actual photographers. So make sure you do your digging and find those places yourself!

As you work on your celebrity photo archive, remember that you don’t always need to purchase each photo you want to add to it. Often, these photos are available for free online. Many celebrities allow fans to download their entire collection of photos, which you can then edit and customize according to your liking.
