A Brief On Rainbow Hematite

Rainbow Hematite is an igneous rock that contains many elements and minerals. It is formed by the combination of volcanic materials such as iron, calcium, bromine, manganese, zinc, aluminum, and iron oxides, along with calcium carbonate and other mineral oxides. When Hematite combines with Goethite, it becomes Rainbow Hematite. It has an irregular multicolored surface covered in scales. Attaching to the surface, Rainbow Hematite is using to draw self-healing energy, can grant emotional grounding, and can be utilized as a healing force.

This naturally occurring mineral is found throughout the world. There are many different species of Rainbow Hematite with differing properties. The most commonly found and studied are Ural, Almandine, Granite, Quartz, and Hematite Peridotite. However, there is an as-new discovery, Rainbow Hematite, which is thought to have healing properties and is a stimulant. X-Ray Fluorescent Spectroscopy and Infrared Spectroscopy can be used to identify hematite specimens.

The Rainbow Hematite was discovered in Turkey. When X-rays were used to inspect water, they showed iron (notably Pb), manganese (notably Mg), and sodium. The composition showed two firm peaks of iron (Pb) and manganese (Mg). When a pure sample of Rainbow Hematite was mixed with a fine selection of Goethite to make an impure solution, the solution gave off no colors. However, when the solution was subjected to x-rays, the colors of the rainbow were revealed. It was found that the impure solution contained traces of other minerals, which in turn gave clues to the properties of the Rainbow Hematite, including its iridescence properties.

There are several factors that affect the quality of Rainbow Hematite specimens. If the quarry used to create the stone has not been purified, it will give off impurities from the water that was used in its production. Additionally, the presence of algae can stain the stone and render it almost impossible to see through. If a stone is over-refined or has a great deal of distortion, it will also have reduced quality.

Since diamonds are synthetically created, most stones will have some impurities. However, a gemologist should know how to identify the right mineral in order to make an appropriate purchase. X-ray fluorescence and Scanning Electron Microscopy will provide conclusive results on the composition of Rainbow Hematite or any other synthetic gemstone. A jewelry designer can also learn how to make measurements of the luster of Rainbow Hematite using techniques such as spark emission spectroscopy and emission tomography.
